Carmel based Health Care Systems Corporation announced today the release of HCare1, their integrated long term care administration and processing solution. HCare1 is said to be an ASP (Application Service Provider) based package that runs over the internet (aka: SaaS, Software as a Service).
Company president, Todd Coombes, commented, "We are excited about the release of HCare1 as it provides a new information processing alternative to nursing homes and other long term care facilities. Unlike traditional software, HCare1 does not have an upfront license fee, installation is a breeze since it runs over the internet and ongoing maintenance is easy since we do all the upgrades, nightly backups, etc. This allows us to do what we do best and frees our customers to concentrate on their business instead of technology issues. What we have done, in essence, is to make automated information processing easy and affordable for the entire industry without sacrificing the human touch due to our ongoing commitment to personalized and timely service and support."
HCare1 is available to long term care facilities on monthly fee basis, is compliant with all government regulations and includes everything necessary to manage residents, process billing, Medicare and Medicaid, manage care and perform financial accounting. Indianapolis based Healthcare Systems, Inc., a software provider to the long term care industry, announced today they are being acquired by a team of ex-IBM executives and technicians. The new company will be known as Health Care Systems Corporation. Healthcare Systems president, Douglas Beale, will be staying on for a brief period of transition as the new management team takes over.
"Sweeping changes are planned for this 29 year old software company.", said Todd Coombes, the new president of Health Care Systems. "We are going to take the industry by storm with new technology combined with our mature product base and great customer service. The result will be something the medical and long term care industry has never seen, an excellent, affordable and 'easy to use' information processing solution backed by friendly and timely service and support. We want all of our customers to know us on a first name basis.
"Traditional software vendors have earned the dubious distinction of only being interested in taking the customer's money and then providing little or no customer service or value in return. We take business relationships very seriously; that is why I give my personal cell phone number out to all of our customers with an invitation to call me anytime. This is the best way I know of to stay in close contact and to demonstrate to our customers our commitment to providing the value and excellence everyone hopes for, but rarely experiences."
